I know it would never work but would people like to see a promotion/relegation format brought into British Ice Hockey with the top two teams from the second tier going up and the bottom two teams from the top tier going down?

I would, because i'm sure that some of the top clubs from lower leagues would be better than the bottom club of the league above. It would give the clubs in the lower leagues something to aim for, and means that the leagues would have a more consistent level of play.

I would but it's all down to money isn't it. The teams that go down will most likely have the most in the EPL and therefore come straight back up.
Also it's wheter epl teams like mk and peterborough will be able to stay in the league financially for a whole season. I think it would be a good idea for the sport but i don't think it will pay off.

The sport is not stable or high profile enough to support such an option

Promotion/ Relegation would be awesome but not viable in British hockey at the moment in any way.

With the Elite League being separate to the EIHA i dont see it happening, the costs and wages are to far apart and overall would not help british ice hockey, long term however an idea to think about

Also import cap's etc, it would all get a bit messy.

If the people of Coventry want to watch relegation battles they can always head to the (Half empty) Lego Arena
