Nope, tesco won't let me have it off! Richard Gibson (King Rich) could have done me a favour and done 3 hours for me, but he was only looking out for himself. He know's he could have. If we lose 2moz, don't blame it on the blaze, blame it on him! Because, I have been on about 15 coach away trips and we've won everyone. That includes about 4 away at cardiff! The only time I went by car we drew! So therefore it is good luck, if I go and travel by coach, but its not happening this week, because of a certain forum admin!

JAC is James, of course...
As for the Cardiff trip-have thought that as they invite us to sing the English national song, rather than the 'British' national anthem-why not do Land Of Hope And Glory this time round? Because no-one knows the words, you say...but a-ha-here they are. If someone'll print one or two off and then copy them (if we stick a quid in thats 20 copies-one between 2 on the coach), then it'll be a nice change from the dirge that is GSTQ...
LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY Land of Hope and Glory, Mother of the Free, How shall we extol thee, Who are born of thee? Wider still and wider Shall thy bounds be set; God, who made thee mighty, Make thee mightier yet. God, who made thee mighty, Make thee mightier yet!
A bit better than GSTQ... And for those of you who may wish to join in the Welsh national anthem, which is always sung so well...
Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi, Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri; Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad, Tros ryddid collasant eu gwaed.
Cytgan (Chorus) Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad, Tra môr yn fur I'r bur hoffbau, O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.
Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd, Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i'm golwg sydd hardd; Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi.
Cytgan (Chorus) Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad dan ei droed, Mae hen iaith y Gymry mor fyw ag erioed, Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad, Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.
Cytgan (Chorus)

Sorry to have to do my stato piece but you came with me to the Nottingham Panthers game by coach on 1st November last year where we lost 7-2. Poirier and Cowley scored for us, can't remember all the scorers for them but I am prety sure Craighead got 2 or 3. Steve Carpenter was the first Blaze player in the penalty box. You also saw us lose 3-2 away in Cardiff on 28th February this year.

well thats still a pretty good percentage lost/drew 2 out of about 15 aways by coach. I just hope we win 2moz. Anyway the point of the post was to state that a certain admin is a big meanie!

It would have meant extending my 6-hour shift to 9-and-a-quarter hours. And 6 hours is more than enough for me, thankyou. And don't ya think I want to go? I'm missing it too. And besides, I couldn't have. You have to leave a twelve-hour gap between shifts, and I'm working on the Sunday morning (doing someone else a favour, by the way). So don't make me out to be the bad guy. And why am I making excuses. Just shut your hole, cuz nobody cares anyway. Keep it royal.

I'm sure the Tescos Two will be there in spirit though.
Am seriously liking the idea of the English anthem instaed of the old Commonwealth one. Remind me again how many bastions of the old empire still remain true to the original ideal.
On a lighter note it looks like a game via default to the left hand side in sheepball ;D
Will also add- does anyone else think that this match will be about 10 times more difficult than the recent TUI Cup challenge?

Yep this will be a harder game than the tui challenge game as devils have got their proper imports over and seemed to of gelled very quickly as a team.
However, having picked up the 1st win sunday players confidence should be up and I am hopeful a good performance will see us take the points.
I also think they maybe a bit pre-occupied with payette after the way he played their last time and that may help us.

"cause I went to the hockey...and then Cardiff scored, and their fans started cheering really loud, and all the Coventry fans were chanting back,, and I was like, '(snorts) yeah, what-EV-er!'...that number 7 for the Blaze is dead fit, isn't he?" (Before anyone gets wound up, that was just a joke...skewed sense of humour, I admit) Back on the serious level, and echoing the earlier posts-Cardiff are back at full strength, so should be a very different proposition to the team Adam Calder's four goals beat almost on their own in the challenge games-Ed Patterson et al are proven at this level-I will travel in hope and go for a narrow Blaze win...
